You know you are in Ruia BMM when.........

Ms. Sneha Subhedar (the coordinator) enters your amazing classroom and shouts, ‘Aye!!! Chup Baitho!’ These days, Ms Shamali enters and says, ‘I never knew you students are so mischievous!' (in her typically cute voice)
When within half an hour of the lecture students cry to put off the Air condition complaining it to be too cool! 

When your eyes are pleased as you enter the classroom seeing the lights, cleanliness, and the beautiful benches! …in short very well furnished with the artificial green trees kept around to add to its beauty… …..When you have the best class to sleep in (or do other interesting things!) with air conditioning, closed curtains and comfortable seats….. When you pay 4 times the amount of what others pay as their fees to begin your journey in a theatre like classroom (with the balcony of course! :D).

You see some really hot chicks in minis in the college campus and you can bet your friend they’re from BMM dept! When even the dumbest of the dumb, walks in the college quadrangle with full attitude, trying to be super cool and alone facing the entire crowd, you know he’s a Ruia BMMite!

When professor enters the class before the students and students reach after an hour or so! :P When once in a blue moon you see all the students wearing complete formals unwillingly for their presentations, And not to forget you are in Ruia BMM when, you observe students clicking pictures and making videos while the presentations on... Also when, Mr. Richard Khear comes in, finds the class noisy and if he’s pissed is like a cherry on the top for students because then all the lecture he keeps shouting nothing else but, “F. U. C * * * G B * *L S!!!” When you have some really brilliant people as your professor like Mr. Sanjay Ranade, (HOD of Journalism, MU), who has an exceptional way of teaching, students have a crush on his intelligence, and his sense of humor! But I am sure 3/4th of the class doesn’t understand his teaching!  (including me :D)

Well, to add, you know you are in Ruia BMM when morning 4 am you get the message of what lectures you have today! Also when, you have no books around, no notes nothing… just a laptop, internet and lots of power point presentations with 100s of slides! :\ Of course, unlike other college BMM students you don’t get any notes even for examination, no important questions and on top of all you get all the presentations one week before the exam!
So, you know you are in Ruia BMM when 15 days before the examination you are facebooking, twittering, chatting and hanging out like a free bird without any idea of what is the portion for exam! :D

…when you stand out of the crowd during every fest with the special bright Ruia “BMM” jerseys…special different jerseys for every fest…not considering you win or lose! You know you are in Ruia BMM when you find a really enthusiastic crowd around you, filled with energy, always cheering their classmate participants (unlike any other department students!!) also when you get to see the unity, love and care among the students, they can be none other Ruia BMMites. And of course you know you are in Ruia BMM when you are one of them from the crowd shouting your lungs out and cheering your department students, “R. U. I. A. BMM BMM” or “jeetega bhai jeetega BMM jeetega!!”,
FY’s, SY’s or TY’s during sports, at around 8pm or even late, when your complete tired! 

Aah! How can I forget the condition of BMMites on the result day!! You know you are in Ruia BMM when, firstly you don’t get any notes, secondly you get the matter to study only one week before the exam and last but not the least, when finally you get to know that out of 60, 15 of them have got a drop whereas 25 KTs!! And first rank securing not more than 60%!!  (high standards of teaching and checking you see )
…. When you have best of the professors to teach you not just from the exam point of view but everything that you might need in future!  (They never consider we have exams too)

…when you have some really intelligent people in your class like some from US, UK or so with their irritating English accent but trust me they are brilliant, who keeps answering every time so that the rest of the class can sleep peacefully! :D
…when you update your facebook or blackberry statuses from your phone in one hand while lays in other, sitting in the air conditioned balcony …..ooops! I mean classroom, and your professor who is also in your friend list gets the update on his/her phone comes to you shouting! ;)
You know you are in Ruia BMM when you get to see the movie of your choice every month on the projector in the classroom with lights off, AC on, lays in hand (though eating inside is not allowed :D) and being cozy on the seats! Wooo …..what comfort and peace! :D ...Where you are exposed to all the movies from Sant Tukaram to Do Aankhe Bara Haath to Paranormal Activity to ....... :D ;)
Also, you know you are in Ruia BMM, when no one around you can define “Decency”!! :P where everyone’s sentence starts with the ‘F’-word and ends with TMK (no no its not Tees Maar Khan...its Teri Ma Ki.... :D!

Also, when you have no lecture after every alternate day :D But, yes! You have lectures on a non-instructional day, even on a Rose Day for that matter when the entire college is dancing with their best clothes on; the great Ruia BMMites are in their classrooms giving presentations in formals!! 
So, in a nut shell, not considering the things mentioned above I assure you,
All great journalists are born here!! ( …and errrr “No sarcasm intended this time!” :))
So you know you were in Ruia BMM when on the last day of your third year BMM you have tears in your eyes thinking about all the cherishing memories you have made in these past years! :)
